The Suzuki DF90ATL stands out as a lightweight and compact 90HP four-stroke outboard engine, delivering robust performance and fuel efficiency. As the first in a new generation of four-stroke outboards, it incorporates advanced technologies aimed at improving on-water performance. At the core of the DF90ATL is a 1,502cc DOHC 16-valve inline four-cylinder engine. This engine features digital sequential electronic fuel injection, which optimizes fuel delivery based on operating conditions, resulting in smoother acceleration and improved fuel economy. The engine’s 2.59:1 gear ratio allows it to turn larger diameter propellers, providing higher torque for quick acceleration and better top speed.

The offset drive shaft design positions the engine’s center of gravity forward, improving weight distribution and reducing vibration. Maintenance is simplified with a self-adjusting timing chain that operates in an oil bath, eliminating the need for regular adjustments. The optional Suzuki Troll Mode System allows for precise control of engine speed in 50 rpm increments, beneficial for activities like trolling.
