Personalised Number Plates in Mauritius: How to Apply, Prices & Availability
Instead of the traditional format, personalised plates give you the freedom to choose combinations such as RAJ 1, MYCAR 7 or even full names like ALEXANDER 1. This growing trend reflects a shift where number plates are no longer just identification — they are part of the vehicle’s personality.
Apply Online for a Personalised Registration Mark
The National Land Transport Authority (NLTA) provides an online platform where vehicle owners can apply for a personalised registration mark. You will need to log in with your MauPASS account before checking available registration marks.
Tip: After logging in, click on “Apply for Personalised Registration Mark”, then check availability before submitting your application.
